EC, Rock, Echo, or Hyrum?

Ok so last week there was a big buzz about the perch doing well at Echo and some at the Rock. Also saw positive reports on Hyrum and East Canyon. How are these holding up? I’m taking a friend ice fishing finally for her first time and I haven’t had a chance to do any scouting due to work beginning again this week. We are planning to go this Sat since it’s finally going to be good weather for a change. Trout would make things interesting too, but I just want to be absolutely sure she will catch something. Whereas I can hike readily through rough terrain and weather extreme cold, I want her to be comfortable, so I know of “sure thing” places, but access might be difficult for her. Any insight will be welcome.

Here is where I understand the fish are at Rockport. I plan on going there in the morning, I will post a report, possibly pix!! The trout are hanging in about 10-14 feet of water suspended off the bottom. The perch are in about 30-35 feet of water.

Go to Yuba more perch and it has trout and waleye and northens, this place is about as sure as you can get…

And the walking is easier no slush or deep snow…
