[;)]Hit Pelican today as I said I was. Went with some good peeps. Fishing still a bit slow. Got there around 930 fished til around 4. Fishing was better in the am than later in the day. Between the four of us we [bobsurprised]managed 18 LMB and 8 or ten gills. I was using a pink glow in the dark jig, can’t remember what they call it tipped with silver colored crappie niblets. And a blue gill live forage minnow tipped with a powerbait maggot. Those worked the best for bass. Good luck.

How was the ice and the edges getting on and off the lake today? If i dont have to work on satuday Im planning on going to pelican lake Thanks again for hte fishing report 
The edges were solid all day. Ice is around 18 inches thick.
Still a bit slow? 26 fish for four people in 6.5 hours on Pelican is painfully slow. The 18 bass sounds nice but the bluegill bite, ouch! Something strange is going on at Pelican, even last summer my catch rates were highly variable. I fish it quite a bit and one day we’d get in to them and the next time struggled to find them. Haven’t fished it much this winter, been too slow. I think I’ll blame the carp[:p] Thanks for the report.
Hey thanks rowdyfish for the information I would really like to get down there this weekend. If all goes well and I dont have to work saturday Im planning on heading down to try it out and will let you know how it goes thanks again for the fishing report and ice update
Compared to last year the action is painfully slow. All the same it was a good day. I hope to make the trip at least one more time. I would also like to try red fleet, if anyone has any info on that res.
