I was there today towards the north end. The ice is really thick. I didn’t measure, but I am guessing it is 15"-18" thick. There were quit a few groups on the ice this morning, but I only saw one group catch two really small fish. I left after about 1 1/2 hours only getting two small bites. I went to fishlake and didn’t even get a bite there. The wind was blowing 100mph and I didn’t want to walk to my fav spot. I didn’t see too many people there catch as well.

I was up there on Saturday.. the ice is 18" thick with about 3 inches of snow on top. the conditions were very nice. We were in fishing off a rocky point on the west side. Between the 3 of us we caught 13 healthy rainbows (all returned to the ice depths). It tooks us a while to figure out what was working… if you need any information on what was working PM me i will be more than happy to help out.
glad to hear you cought some, those fish are like footballs there. good weather too, the wind can be pretty bad.
