My family and I just recently moved to the Kaysville area and I am looking to explore the Northern area of the state during my spring break next week. I love to fly fish but I am not too familiar with the area. I have fished the Weber River a couple of times, years ago, but that is about it.
I am mainly interested in access points and productive areas to try along the Ogden and Weber Rivers. I would appreciate any input as I am always looking for new areas to try and new people to meet.
First of all… welcome to the forums. 
I have fished the Ogden and Weber Rivers for 15+ years, both spinning and fly fishing.
The Ogden can be a very fun river. I normally like to fish in Ogden Canyon. Most runs and holes hold multiple fish. There is not shortage of fish… especially in the canyon.
Right now (as of 2 days ago) the river was low and clear. Use long leaders. A nymph and dry combo is a good bet this time of year. Adams, BWO, Renegades, Griffiths Gnats, and even stimulators (I know that sounds crazy, but I have a friend that caught a few on one the other day) are good choices for dries right now. Pheasant tails, Hares ears, zebra midges, serendipitys, and ORS’s have been catching me fish lately.
As far as access goes, most of the river is public with the exception of one small area in the middle of the canyon (it is posted) and behind the Thiokol meeting center or whatever it is, which is right below Pineview.
