It was the perfect day - a fishing buddy and I headed outta the marina to a hot spot we found the day before…well, it was even better the 2nd day as we managed 53 largies into the boat in just a touch over an hour - also lost a few. It was nearly every cast - he went 6 in a row and I went 5 in a row at one point. They were hitting almost anything we threw at them -mainly used senkos. It is a small little section about 70 yards long so once we fished it we headed out to the main part of the lake to catch a few more and found ourselves back in the same spot to finish the day and put another 21 in the boat in about 45 minutes - none of them were huge but they were overall about 15" or so. We did manage to find another spot on the lake that produced 18 largies all on topwater frogs in less than 2’ of water…GOOD TIMES and VERY TIGHT LINES!
