So before this year, I have never even heard of a Tiger Muskie. I moved in right above Bamaboy in January and we got talking about fishing and he showed me some pics of previous muskies he had caught. Right then and there I made it my goal to catch a muskie this year. We’ve fished Newton a lot, with a big gap of absence due to the catfish contest, and haven’t been able to come up with anything but bluegill, bass, and perch.
Well, we went out Saturday and both of us managed to land my first ever and his first of the year. (Bamaboy posted about this so I won’t do many details) I went out again tonight with a family of a kid I teach primary too and I was able to land my second, and much larger Muskie. Suffice it to say, I’ve got muskie fever!
