Got on Newton with a couple of the kids.
I’m a fly guy. Tried a bunch of clousers and other streamers. Nada.
Poppers and frogs were the ticket.

I really love Newton, but have not made it up this year. I bet a musky on the fly rod would be exciting

Nice to read a report about Newton, we don’t get many from that lake. Did you try for any crappie or were you there just for the bass?
