This post is a little old but just put the pics on the computer. I took my daughter and wife to Mantua on Saturday. My wife wanted a boat ride and I wanted to fish and see if our little girl would last a little longer in the boat.
Hit Mantua about 10:00am and headed to the point and found some friends out in the middle with a few fish. Little girl lost her princess pole. Lesson learned. Hit a little area I really like to fish about 11am. Bluegills were feisty and I proceeded to put a few in the basket to eat.
I caught one 8" green sunfish. Biggest ever.
Finally, I gave Averi my pole threw out the jig and a gill immediately hit it. She lifted the pole and in it came. She then caught about 7 more as fast as she could. Great day for me, mom and little one.
