I am trying to mount the trolling motor I just bought for my toon and am looking for some suggestions on how to mount it.

Hey Jed, if you have a sturdy platform on the rear, and the motor is a transom mount, then all you need to do is bolt an angled piece of wood or metal to the shelf and attach the motor to that.
I suggest you hit Sportsmans and look at a couple of models that come equipped with motor mounts. That should give you the idea.
Otherwise, if you send a pic of the platform setup on your craft, and the dimensions, I can probably help you with a working design.
