So i want to go ice fishing at Mantua tomorrow mourning. My wife got me a very nice ice fishing tent. but all of my ice fishing gear is in my car up in North Dakota. so just wondering if anyone is heading up there? If so if they would like any company. would need to borrow a ice rod and some tackle. i will buy the bait and drinks. i will bring my ice tent. I hope this all makes sense… Thanks Pineviewfisher..

I’ll be there before light tomorrow- toting from the south end to the point. There’s a pretty clear path, and new boards set (use the right side). The ice is great once you’re on. Saw lots of baskets being filled, and think I caught onto the “light bite” after a while. Funny how no-one seems to want the trout Gills fur alles!
First time on ice - I think I’m hooked! There where lots of folks out there, but plenty of lake to explore. Nice to see the grandfolks, and youngings getting out as the warmer afternoon set in. So much for leavin’ at 10! Got home towards 4. Gorgeous day! Who needs a tent! (ask me end of JAN!)
