So how did it go on mantua for any of you? How was the ice and the catching?
For me the fishing was great. The catching, not so good. Lots of people moving around trying to locate fish, I suspect.
Sounds great. I like to fish mantua after the catching has slowed. It seems like the crowds thin out and it is a little more quiet on the ice.
Went out on the 10th. Slow for us while others had different answers. Some found it constant while others so-so. Seen a couple using flashers still moving around a lot. Ice where we went was 5+ inches with a skim of water on top, varying the further out you go. Lots of people still venturing out in the middle parts. Be safe…
