Does anyone know if Mantua and or Pineview are clear of ice yet?
Ok, i found the answer for Mantua, still frozen. Still wondering about Pineview though.
Pineview is mostly frozen still. Some open water by the inlets, but not enough for a boat yet.

Why? Do you plan on spending 5 days up at Pineview just to get skunked everyday like Lake Powell!!!
Stick to the “kiddie” ponds until you have built up enough “skillz” to attack a “minnow” like Pineview, after Pineview you can then step up your game to Lake Powell. With all the money you waste on gear you would think the fish would be jumping into your boat!!! LOL

Figured I’d get a comment like that from you, and I don’t get skunked at Powell. Rumors and Lies… Why don’t you come with me and “teach” me how to fish, Master? Oh and by “catching fish” I mean a real fish, not some weak ass trout where the pop gear or whatever you’re using has more fight than the fish. HAHAHA! And just remember, I’m not the one with the boat AND the travel trailer. Your fish must jump in your boat and then cook themselves as soon as you get them in the trailer.
But really…lets go fishing. I’m down whenever. Take Monday off!
Touche!!! Touche!!! LOL I am going to Newton on Saturday with a buddy. Main goal for the day is to get the bottom “bunks” on my trailor replaced before I go to Powell. Plus I wouldnt mind getting the motor running a little too. I tuned it all up a few weeks ago and had it running in the drive way, but since then it has been cold cold cold, so maybe after I get my “maintenance” done on the trailor and run somemore gas through the motor I will cast a line out, we’ll see!!!
