I cannot thank you enough for the jigs bro! In fact I left them with CvFisher so I may need to come by and buy some more before I go back up there in 2 weeks. I also need to get some marabous from you since the tackle stores are always sold out of the one’s I want. We tried the firetigers and nada but the black jigs were slaying them good enough that we didn’t try the white jigs yet. Lots of fun was had out there thanks to you.
The hole in my tire on the way home was easy to find. As we kept saying/ joking on the way home “even tube dude coulda found that one!”[;)]

If there HAD been a hole…I would have found it. No hole goes unfound at the tubeatorium.
**I have narrowed it down to two possibilities. **
1. You brought the non-leaking bladder just to watch a poor old man go bonkers trying to find a leak that was not there.
2. There is an “intermittant” valve seating problem. I have seen lots of those with that kind of valve. Drives ya nuts. Sometimes there are no problems. Other trips you get well out on the water and almost have to walk back to shore when the bladder goes flat.
Whatever it is, it is a “progressive” leak. It loses little or no air when fully inflated. Then it loses more as the pressure drops.
I suggest you go for a replacement or a refund. The toon has not been abused and there is no visible or discernible puncture. It just “flat” loses air. That’s not good.
It has been long enough. Stand up on your hind legs and bark like an unhappy consumer.
Oh yeah, about those trout. They got summeritis. They might hang out around a cooling inflow but the main lake (Mantua) is just too warm for their comfort right now. Give it a couple of weeks and you will see them getting active again.

Thanks again for rubbing that pontoon with soap for 2+ hours. I have never seen the toon so clean!! I bet Creek Company is gonna think that I never used the thing! However there is a leak my friend…and ME, You and my twin all put in HOURS of locating work in that damn thing and never found the leak. Luckily the warrenty is still good and the pontoon is now in WA (good cus it no longer has business here in Utah). Summeritis Trout…I like that. The inlet had some trout last month but this trip there was not a single one cruzing the inlet. Those trout up there are big and even harder to catch than most lakes. I did not give up hope in catching one…until the hours flew by with no Trout and just bass after bluegill. Once the perch appeared I finally gave up hope on getting one. Hopefully your right and the trout will return to their feeding habbits in a few weeks. Till then…I guess I’ll have to fish for them a little closer to home. THANKS AGAIN for the jig gear…the black ones got me tons of perch, bluegill and even a 12 inch bass (which was a plesent surpise). Maybe the firetiger one did not work cuz I wasn’t using it from a float tube [;)]J/K. Those fish shops are gonna loose some serious business now that you got us with your custom hooks, line and sinkers. CvFisher likely hid those custom jigs in his boat cuz he saw how well they were working J/K again[;)].
Jdawg183, Troy (TyeDyeTwin) and I (EvilTyeDye) are twins…so Utcatman was likely just refering to us both. Honestly when I catch 25+ bass in less than a week I think I am doing pretty good in the bass department…but some people are just going to wine and cry no matter what my twin and I report. I can not thank you enough for coming to our defense. Glad to see that some people on BFT find our reports useful. As my twin stated on a previous post…we report the good, the bad and the ugly. You bet man. I quite enjoy your posts on here, and I would sure hate to have more people getting scared off from posting because of a couple of people who can’t be pleased. Like Troy said, the purpose of this board is to share with each other what is going on at the different locations, what is working, what is not, etc. The real problem is that the ones who would just as soon turn this into a brag board, are also the ones who share the least valuable information, so once they scare everyone off of here, you will be just as well off to go to Google images and search for Big Fish.
pretty bold statement towards one of the most dedicated successful anglers on this board (UTCatman). doesent look like an all out bash to me, from a passing glance looks like someone is passionate about a certain species of fish. you were with in the law and you have every right to keep what you catch nothing wrong with that, but when either of you boys even catch a whiff of someone offering any form of advice, either constructive or to the contrary you guys get up in arms instantly, even when people use the wrong words to try to help you. be it with a question or a piece of advice. may i suggest you ponder this for a moment… you are trying to argue over the internet

Yeah no doubt he catches big fish but why does he have to put us down everytime we post or even send a PM to somone else for that matter. He doesn’t offer advice or constructive criticism, unless you think telling me I should be embaressed by my fish and not post is constructive critisim.

I am new to the site, and did not even think before I chimed in. Just on this one thread, i have a better understading that people may not be a seasoned anglers. or that some people may be new to the sport. Or that some find it fun to chase panfish or small bass, to each their own. I just thought the heading was a little misleading. I was expecting to see some SLOB fish and lots of them. My bad, I am at the point in fishing where I fish for five bites a day. Thats it, But the right five, and I put my money were my mouth is with this sport. I fish 5-6 days a week. flyfished from 5-20 and been chasing bass from 20-38. Fishing is my life and always will be.

Keeping this thread on topic…That was hilarious when CvFisher and I were catching fish and you (tyedye) wern’t and you said, "what do I have to do…pull a Jermey Wade and say “fish on” and what do you know you had a fish on and so did I. It was like magic. Did dropping the River Monster hunter’s name while chanting his trademark words (fish on) really work? Guess so. Maybe I’ll have to drop his name more often when I am on the water. Fish on!
