MA whitebass @Boyd

fished Boyd lake 9-3, water temp was 72 for most of the day. fished in 18 to 25 fow, vertical jigged lead head with night crawler and jigging rapalas. caught 1 MA whitebass at 17 1/4in. what a hog he was and still swimming. we ended the day with 3 walleyes and 3 whitebass.

Good to see you are still getting out Chuck. What is a MA white bass? From what I know of white bass anything that big is huge, congrats. Any size to the eyes?

MA is just short for master angler, CO. DWR has a program that if you catch a fish of a set measure that the DWR has set you can send a pic in and get a certificate and a patch. something a little fun to do.
