drove by mountion dell tuesday on the way to strawberry it still had a ice cap so i would assume little dell does also though with the weather forcast for the next couple of weeks i would think there would be fishable water by opening day 4/1/04
Is the whole 911 security shutdown over at Little Dell yet? It was my understanding that no one was allowed on that lake.
they only close it when the nation goes to a red alert orange or below like now its open to fishing
Its still covered with rotton ice. It had a couple of holes by the dam. That was at about 10:30 this morning. I had to drive up there for drivers ed.
Holes? I thought that you could only fish it durin the season on april to Halloween?
It is closed during the winter. I’m guessing he meant that the ice was starting to break up near the dam.
Yep, little 5 foot holes where its melting. Only 2 or 3 of em, though. I bet with a good wind it’ll be ice free within a week or two.
Does anyone know if Little Dell has any open water yet?
