A killer day a Deer Creek Sat morning. On the Res at 740am kinda chilly had to grab the jacket. Fishing started slow got one smallmouth to play. Then a monster carp took my jig gave me about a 7-8 min fight had to weigh 10+ lbs. just guessing to big to do anything with just returned him. Hit a few more spots still slow then found a spot holding some small lrg. mouths caught 2. After working for a hr or 2

I found a spot holding bass. Wow holding a lot of bass ended up with 1 carp 2 small mouths and 48 large mouths it was crazy for about 3 hrs? Fish sizes ranged from 3" to 16.5 most in the 10" or 11" range. left at 1pm had a dinner date would of loved to stayed all day Very fun day

Those largemouths will really stack up on some spots there in Deer Creek. I’ve had a few days out there catching 40-50 of them out of a few small areas. Way to go.

You are right that’s what happen, just had 2 spots that they were on mostly small ones with a nice between some of the small ones. Very fun day thanks guys. Hope I can make it back up once more.
