hit deer creek today and found the big fish what a day only fished 4 hours but the 2 of us caught 50 or so fish and i’d say 20 was over 3 pounds we kept a couple that was hooked deep and a few nicer ones
got 2 browns one was 25 inches but he flipped out of the boat before I could get the picture here is a picture of the limit we kept

Heard people were doing okay at the inlet with yellow power bait. I cruised up there but the water seemed sort of muddy. had motor problems so didn’t really pursue it. Supposedly there is a hole up there. Need to get a fish finder.
we looked that way for two weeks not doing great 8 to 10 fish days and mostly smaller fish and alot of it is onlly 3 or 4 foot deep id be carefull in the wind that way you may get stuck in the mud
