Decided to hit dc Saturday morning with 2 buddies. We were on the water by 8:00 and the day couldn’t have been more perfect with the sun shining and no wind.
We trolled around till 1230 and ended up with 39 bows and 2 browns. I’ve attached the two biggest fish of the day. A 20 inch bow and 20 inch brown. The bow is probably the heaviest fish I’ve caught there.
It was the best half day I’ve fishing I’ve ever had there and I fish dc almost once a week.
We caught fish on all methods ie flat lining, leaded line, down riggers, etc.
Get out there while it’s hot!!! There is still some ice on the lake.
