Thinking bout a weekend trip to chase some steelhead. But I havent ever fished dec-jan and dunno where the fish are. Any suggestions where we could get into some fish or where they should be? Should they be up the south fork of the clearwater right now? Or in the little salmon? Or anywhere else? Less driving=better from SLC

Salmon probable to icy. Clearwater people do fish more through the winter slows down. Starts picking up in feb. Iād check F&G reports Mostly N Fork clearwater downstream. Iād save up for the spring run should be fast.
