Fished from 6:30-noon. Air temp 33 at launch, water 47.
51 at quittin’ time. Worked lipless cranks like a dog, yet caught my only two smallies (17+, 19+) using splitshot/half-worm combo on 2nd rod hanging out the back. Both times drifting, both times falling off from 6’ to 10’. Tried to replicate pattern rest of day, but nada. Talked to a few bassers who said it was slow due to temp dropping 7 degrees & water rising 10’ from a week ago.
