I took a day off work and my wife and I hit Jordanelle. It had been a month since my last visit to Jordy. It started slow and we moved around a bit. Caught a koke here and there and by 10 am we only had 3 in the boat. Then we finally found some nice schools and had our limits by 10:45. Green, orange, watermelon colors worked best. My wife also caught a splake. We did not catch anything on pink. Interesting that at the fish cleaning station I spoke with some others and they caught nearly all theirs on pink and orange. Go figure. Biggest was 18" and most were in the 15" range.

Way to go, an 18" koke, limits and a nice splake. Can’t beat that, except for having your wife go out with you, sounds like a great day.

Having her go with me is by far the best part. It doesn’t happen too often anymore because she hates getting up so early.
Well Done ! I was up there about 3 weeks ago and was getting hit on the Orange Hoochie but only when tipped with Green Maggot. I have never had them hit the green ones before.
Looks like a blast .
