Has anyone been to Joes Valley lately? I’m looking for a report. How is the water clarity, temp, and lake level? Any access problems due to fire or anything else? Thanks! Fred K.
water clairity is good, fires are no problem unless you access through scad valleyfrom cleveland res., however I just read they have opened that road as of today. The fires are 15+ miles north of joes valley. splake and other trout has been slow to fair, a good chance for a 30-35" tiger muskie along the east side rocky shore if you have a boat. There is some excellant stream fishing and small lake fishing near by however if jv isn’t producing.

Thanks for your reply! My buddy and I will be heading up there this weekend looking for some TM’s, but also chasing trout too. I’ve heard of some 37/38" muskies coming out of there. Have you heard about anything ike this? Thanks again, Fred K.
I have heard from thegill netting that theyexpect the 4 year planters to start topping 40" by fall. I have heard of at least 1 keeper coming out already.
