Stopped by the lake last Monday, since I was planning a trip there the next day. The lake was so low I was afraid to launch the boat. I understand that Willard Bay now has a bunch of water, so, next week that will be my destination.
Are there any current issues at Willard?
That’s too bad about Hyrym. No real issues with Willard, except don’t turn to the left or right too quickly when you exit the channel. How are you planning on fishing Willard? FYI, trolling cranks are usually not productive this time of the year. We do best slowly pulling fligs, using chub meat this time of the year, we pull them around .5 mph.
Probably worms or lures on a bobber for Crappie and something weedless on the bottom for other fish. I really don’t know how to fish Willard, only been there a few times, years ago and didn’t catch much.
