Well I was previously what some would call a “Hot Spotter” on this forum. You know I was not a member, but would read to see if certain lakes were doing any good before I went.
Truth be told, I think that’s kinda what this forum is for. To help other people catch fish. I don’t know, maybe that’s just the ex-fishing guide coming out of me. That being said, don’t go and give away your personal hidey holes, that would just be foolish.
Anyway, best to all of you. Anyone fished Lost Creek?
Not yet. I think HFT hit it once earlier near the boat ramp. We were thinking about it tomorrow but haven’t heard a good positive ice report from there yet.I like to hit the inlet area when we go there and that requires good enough ice for a machine to get there on. When I’m positive there’s good ice then we’ll hit it.The fish there are puttin on weight from previous years ! Looks like Echo tomorrow.
thanks for the report. Maybe I will head up there in the morning and let you know. The DWR report just says that it finally capped completely around the 23rd of Dec.
I tried to fish it a few weeks ago but the road was not plowed after the bus turn around, they plowed it an hour after I was there, some other BFT’rs posted a bout it.
Use white paddle bugs or whatta crickets with wax worms they always do well up there.
Please post the road condition for me I would like to do lost creek but it has to be 2 wheel drive accessible for me.
And you are right that is what it is all about sharing so others can have fun too!
