Help Me decide where to go with my Dad!

All,
I’m a long-time member, but haven’t posted in a while–still, I like to read your reports and still view BFT as THE place to go for informed opinions and great advice. Anyway, my dad had an accident the caused him to pretty well miss the entire spring/summer fishing season. He has now rehabilitated enough that I can get him in the boat and we are going to go fishing on Thursday. It doesn’t matter a whole lot what we catch, but, this being one of the only opportunities he will have all year to get out on the water, I was hoping to increase the chances of getting on some fish by soliciting the advice of anyone here on the forum about where we should go. We are in Utah county and I am trying to decide among the following waters: Utah Lake, Strawberry, Jordanelle, Deer Creek, Schofield and Rockport. Again, whether it’s for bass, walleye, trout or kokanee, I just want your honest to goodness opinion on where we can have the best chances to get on some fish. THANKS!!

I don’t know if Bear Lake is an option, but I think I can give you some info to get you into some good laker action up there, laker fishing is as good as I have seen it in a long time on the Big Blue right now, PM me if interested.

I hear ya my dad is in his late 60’s and isn’t as mobile as he once use to be but we always have a great time at Strawberry.

Scofield was steady last weekend, almost no one there. Flasher with worm, Jakes, Rapala jointed-- Everything seemed to work. Goofy Limit However. Pulled everything near the top at 1.00 mph. Close to Utah County.

Thanks for the suggestions. Bear Lake might be a little far for us–but one of these days I need to head up there.
