Going to the green river near moab. Is there any fishing to be done down there? I have never been there and thought about bringing a rod and reel.
Fishing for a sun burn? Bring an umbrella, sunscreen, camera, golf clubs…rod & reel??? I dont know…never fished it!!!

Go prepared to catch channel cats.
The Colorado River runs past Moab, the Green is actually about 40 miles downstream.
Lots of catfish in both, but usually nothing too big. They take standard stinky catfish baits.
there is actually a dirt road that will take you down to the green about 15 miles north west of moab… its a beautifull drive…
the green and the colorado are both loaded with channels… the green has more fish… but they are definitly smaller.. the colorado has alot too but the ones in there seem to have a little more size to them…
i have gotten bored of catching small cats in both rivers… it is normally fast and furious in about any hole, or edddy… or any kind of structure at all.. lol.. i did well with chubs and worms… carp meat caught me some bigger fish… most cats in that section of the river run about 0-3lbs… with some bigger .
