Me and a buddy headed up to strawberry early, was on the water by 6:45 fishing. The first hour was a little slow, my buddy picked up a couple small cutthroat on a needlefish. Then they started going after my RMT dodger and pink squid. After I caught probably 5 fish to my friends 1 then he decided to change to a squid also. After about 5 hours of fishing we ended up with 2 kokanee 17"&15" and 15 cutthroat, several of our cutthroat were 20-21 inches but no keepers over the slot. We also caught 1 rainbow. All in all we had a pretty good day, can’t wait to get back up and try it again.
