i’m keen to here from you guys
and once again
Hello from austraila!!!
cheers cameron

January hard deck fishing. Make sure you bring all your cold weather gear… maybe someone can hook you up and take you with because there is a lot of extra gear you may need, like an ice auger to start with.

Hard deck… Utah’n for ice fishing
Polygamy porter… Utah’n for beer

ice fishing!! wow sounds like an experance an austrailan wouldent forget!!!

also i’m intrested in hunting too
and wondering if i’d need to buy a fishing licence ?

i’m 100% keen to try “your” fishing and i’m absolutley stoaked to be able to visit!

Should be fun! You will need a license. As for hunts, I’m sure there will be some going on, I’m not sure which ones though.

For the hunting you will either have water fowl or some upland game with Chuckers. I can show you some places for water fowl that you will only need limited equipment for. If you want to hunt big game, you may be able to get a land owner tag for deer or elk. Contact the DWR from the two numbers above and they will be able to tell you what land owners might have tags left and which ones you would be able to hunt the large game in January.

Ice fishing is for sure what you will have at that time of year.

the hunting thing sounds a bit to hard to do for a holiday for 2 weeks
but im down for ice fishing …
do fishing charters/guides go ice fishing? or will i have to find a lonly fisherman to take me?

i’m also told the babes love aussys over there!

Water fowl is easier then you think. A dozen decoys and a shotgun are all you need. I can loan you decoys, bring a shotgun with you and you will be fine. [;)]

Get someone to take you to Flaming Gorge. They catch Bourbot there (some call them “Lings” as they are related to the salt water cod). If you want a strange fish to catch that is aggressive and tasty, that may be a good bet.
