Had a fun day catching lots of fish. hit East Canyon about 8 AM and trolled the West side of the lake. me and my dad caught prob 30-40 fish and missed at least that many. most were 12 - 15 inches long biggest was 18. trolled 3 to 4 colors deep with pop gear and worm worked best. lake is full going over spillway. water temp showed 59.3
Good post. I was up there this afternoon for about 45 minutes before the wind kicked me off. Ended up hooking into one and got it to the boat and it flopped off. I was out there alone and forgot my larger net. Use a Brown Trout Rapala. Nice few minutes anyway. Were you pulling just a worm on a hook behind the popgear? Or did you have some sort of spinner on with the worm on it?
