The family headed up to the Gorge for a family get together. It was fun, but the fishing sure did suck. We tried everywhere, but just couldn’t find the fish. I didnt get up there until Friday. My first trip out, I caught a small bow, my mom caught a small mac and my dad caught this HUGE bass

He caught a few more like that throughout the trip as well as my brother. My daughter caught one about twice that size, but that was the biggest bass we caught. While everyone else was out on the boat, my daughter, brother and I went for a drive and I caught a nice bow off the shore. We found one cove where the fish were following the lures to the boat, but no hits. Dad also had a nice bow on his line over by the island, but he pressed the release button when it got to the boat [;)] We tried throwing everything, but they were running from us. Fun times tho, except for the campers next to us that stayed up all night drinking and talking about things little kids shouldnt hear 
I didnt get the photo ops that alot of the others did, but i DID forget the camera a couple trips. Seen an eagle and a really pretty sky then.

Thats sucks. Glad you had fun with the family. I might be going up over the 24th of july. Hope I have a better trip.
