I understand that kids age 12-13 need to buy a license and it is a lot less than one a 14 year old will buy.
If a 13 year old buys a fishing license this week, then turns 14 on the 22nd of Dec…I assume that the license will expire immediately and he will have to buy a new license after his 14th birthday.
Correct?
I couldn’t find it clearly spelled out in the proclamation (or I just missed it) and needed clarification.
Yep the license will show your kids B-day on it and the date of purchase on it so it will show when purchased your kids were 13. And will be valid until it expires a year from the date of purchase.
