Does anyone know if Fish Lake has ice, or when it usually freezes?
Also where do most people fish on it once it has frozen. Thanks for any help.
Last year they were ice fishing Fish Lake the last few days of the year. I have read that it often doesn’t have safe ice until around the first of the year. It freezes on the south and north ends first.
As Kent has stated, fish lake will freeze on the north and south ends first. I’ve found around mid dec a brave idiot can usually fish FL someplace.

Last New Years Eve we celebrated in the camper in the parking lot north of the lodge. There was a good start of ice out from the creek and we hoped for a New Years day FL Spake fest. But by morning there where white caps and 30 mph W.

LMAO!! Yep old buddy that must be your auger, if yours is a 10" Lazer. You wouldnt find me doing anything so ridiculuos as strolling on 2" of cap merely to catch fish!! I think the idiot that snapped that picture must be completely out of his mind. What do you think? 
i do beleve that is my 8" bearracuda there on the ice.. but i’ll trade with ya there buddy old pal! [sly].. i have allways liked that lazer you got..
i’m trying to get ahold of some friends i have down that way and find out what the ice is looking like down there. not only on FL but some of the other lakes as well.
i’m thinking otter creek should be about ready as well.. [sly]
