I took the family to Fish Lake (16th Fri, 17th sat). We were unable to fish because of the wind. We had lunch at fish lake lodge & did some sight seeing (pictures). We also made a list of camp sites that we like & big enough for are spring bar tent. We plan on camping at fish lake in july for a week. We found a nice place to stay in Loa, the snuggle inn. It was good spending quality time with the family. On the drive back from loa/fish lake we stopped at Yuba. We wanted to take a boat ride/fish but the wind was bad also at yuba.

Has all the snow melted near Fish Lake? Last time I was over there the rivers and streams were flooding.
All the snow has melted. There are small patches on top of the peaks. The rivers/creeks are flowing high.
Oh, those pics almost brought a tear to my eye. I spent a lot of time there with the family when I was younger and have many wonderful memories. I haven’t been for years and now I think I may just have to go.
NICE PICTURES.. MY WIFE AND I SPEND ALLOT OF TIME AT THE BOWERY JUST DOWN THE ROAD.. THE WIND HAS BEEN HORRIBLE.. WE FISH A LITTLE AND PLAY ALLOT… RIDE THE WHEELER AND PLAY A LITTLE.. LOT OF FUN.. A GUY COUGHT A 38 LB. 3 WEEKS AGO.. A 25 LB. CAME IN ON LAST SATURDAY AND THE SAME GUY GOT A 14LB. ON SUNDAY ALL RELEASED.. SO FAR A NICE START TO THE WONDERFUL SEASON’S(SNOW 3 WEEKS AGO) AT FISHLAKE.. ALL THE FISH WERE CAUGHT 3 OR 4 COLORS DOWNS USING PLUGS AND RAPALA’S.. IF ANYONE IN THE BFT NETWORK IS HEADING TO FISHLAKE SOON. GIVE ME A P.M. AND LETS HOOK UP.. FISHING, ATV RIDE OR JUST SAY HIGH!! WE ARE AT EH LAKE EVERY WEEKEND!!

Beautiful scenery Travis. Sorry to hear about the “w”. There’s nothing quite like spending quality time with the family. I’m still waiting to hear about the gorge trip, though. I guess we’d better get jason and go fishing soon.
