I recently had a chance to go fishing with LordCrappie and caught my first musky. We fished nearly all day and caught tons of Crappie, (he really is LordCrappie) as well as some good size bass. This is the only one we caught, but we mostly fished for the other species.
It is probably the biggest fish I have ever caught here in Utah and it was a huge highlight in my fishing career. Big fish like these are what I want to catch more of, like Macks, Wipers, and Musky’s. It is good stuff!!!
This is also my first picture post and I may need a bit of help. It seems that pictures have long been an issue on the forum so I hope to figure things out quickly, Thanks.
You did great for your first picture post; however, please take pity on those with slower connections by not posting any pictures larger than 300 KB Kent
I did not get a chance to measure him up. I wished I could have and will for sure be prepared next time.
In response to the other post, I caught it on a silver rap, just tossing it around. I don’t know to what depths it dives, but I hope to catch more in the future and figure things out.
Man I can take a good pic! You still haven’t paid my guide fee![;)] You failed to mention the one that got off at the boat and the one that cut my line like butter. Man that was a blast. Thanks for going with me. Feel free to take the boat out anytime you like.
Ya lordcrappie I failed to mention those Musky’s that you “almost” caught, because I thought that the only ones that count are the ones brought into the boat.
Just funnin ya! We definitely should have had a couple more musky, but the whole day of fishing was incredible, and I cannot wait to get back out.
