My favorite fishing partner (Dad) passed away last year,
and i recently went through his fishing gear i inherited, he was genarally a frugal man being born in the great depression, except for his fishing tackle (lol).
I have more than i would ever use as it is, and would like to see someone make use of it before i take it to the DI or trash it. List of items available are poles, reels, hooks weights and tackle boxes etc… this is not new equipment but is still usable. If you are interested or know of a good organization to donate this stuff to, it would greatly be appreciated pm me.
Miss you Dad[frown]
Sorry to here about your dad passing. [frown] I hope he is on the big pond catchung fish on anything he throws in.
If you know what a strawberry wobbler is I would be intrested in the old chrome model some one had made. the newer ones you can get are not the same and would be willing to pay you 4.00 a piece for them.
sorry again.

It might be a good idea to donate it to a local youth fishing club at one of the community ponds. Just a thought.
If some of the lures are old try to make a list of them and check to see if some may be callable and could put a few $ in your pocket..
+1 on keystonecop’s suggestion. The Community Fishing program could use your help.

Thanks for all your responses, and i have been given some good contacts on local youth organizations. I feel this would be a very worth while place for the gear to go. He did not have many lures, mostly fished with bait and your common jigs.
Thanks again
