Hello, Im a long time watcher of the forum here, and I finally decided to join. I love to fish, anywhere, anytime. Lately (last several years), I have pretty much lived at Flaming Gorge on a quest to conquer the Lake Trout. Yesterday was one of those days where the dedication seemed to pay off. We fished for 5 hours total. We caught 13 Lakers, 2 of which were over 30 lbs. and another one was over 20 lbs. the rest were just teens or lower. Overall though I consider it to be an EPIC DAY of fishing. In fact, it was MY BEST DAY FOR LAKERS THIS YEAR!!!
I only have a few pics as of right now, but should be getting the others anytime now.
Ill be posting more about how I am doing here at the Gorge whenever possible. Im curious to know how all you other Lake trout freaks have been doing lately!!!
Sweet fish! All the time and effort has paid off! Watch next time you go you won’t get a single bite! Just kidding, most would agree one day your on fire and the next is what the hell?! Awesome and thanks for posting!
Very nice. Capt. Clark are you related to the Sabey’s in Lehi ??
I know a Sabey here in town that used to chase the Lakers at the Gorge.
Keep us posted with your catches.
