Three of us went to Echo, caught twelve to fifteen slimers kept a few for dinner. Caught about sixty perch, 34 worth filletin, fished thirty five feet deep, eye balls, perch meat, and worms. Kinda slow we must be puttin the hurt on em. I took the honors of big perch, Twelve and a half inch with one coming in close with eleven and a half inch. Slippery Bill caught some nice slimers 14-16 inches. Me and Fishin Phil took home seventeen filletable perch each. Over all it was a great day. Good weather and Great company. If you go watch the egdes the lake is risin fast. 16 inches thick in the middle and a lot of snow.

ps. pictures thanks to my brain child!
Another great report Glenn, you sure know how to find those big perch. With the water rising so much, did you have to use a board or anything to get on the ice? Were there any ATVs or snow mobiles on the ice? Thanks for the info.
Way to spank 'em yet again! We might end up there in the morning. I’m just worried about the edges. Can I get across at Echo Resort without getting wet? We’ll be on foot.
Yes you can still get on. You just have to go to the steep side of the edge. Yes there were atv’s on but I don’t know how wet they got. We managed to get on but the back of the wheeler broke through. We lifted it on to go fishing. Kind of scarry but we made it. Good Luck Pikeman GO FISH
We are going to the nell today
Sounds like ATV ramps would have helped getting on the ice but that is just one more thing to take down to the edge and then you would need to watch them all the time to make sure no one stole them[unsure]
