Taking my son and grandson up to East Canyon on Sunday. We’ve been catching some chunky rainbows and a few browns.

Nice bow. Sure don’t hear of browns being caught at EC very often, now often do you catch them there, any size to them?

This year, maybe one brown per trip, if we’re chasing trout and not smallmouth. Biggest brown has been about 16"-17". The rainbows are bigger.

Nice, so you were trolling mostly trout lures when you caught the browns? Do you ever catch them while casting for bass? With the cooling temps, I bet you do good up there on Sunday, would love to hear a report about your trip.
