Went up to East Canyon Saturday. Went thru on Mountain Dell Canyon. Forgot how steep it was and how many bicycle clubs use it…took FOREVER dodging those bikers. Went home over Parleys.
Got on the water at 8:30 and fished until 3:30. Trolled Rapalas and worm harnesses in 15-40 feet toward the resort side, even into the river channel past the bouys. Bows were everywhere and we rarely had any down time. Early they were in the top 6 feet and later anywhere from 15-35 feet down. Caught just as many using 1 oz. bead sinkers as I did on my downrigger. Boated probably 25+ from 16"-18" and brought home enough for the BBQ today…TASTEY!. Water temps were around 55. Good day on the lake, but I couldn’t tie into any of the big hogs I get during the winter…
