<br /> Decided to fish the Saturday HBSP tournament to get myself back into &quot;tourney mode&quot; ahead of next week's CFF. <br /> Headed to my first spot and struggled for about 20 minutes before I lucked upon a school of largemouth. Caught a 2.7, 2.7, and 2.5 before hooking into a 3.5 (weights on my rapala scale). Stayed on this school as long as I could before I finally caught a 3.95 on a spinnerbait. Bite died a little after dark and I worked to find fish. Caught a 2.3, 2.5, and 2.0 in another area on a big worm. Finally slowed down to cull what I had and at the time had a 3.95, 3.5, and a 2.7 in the livewell. At that point I headed to another grassy area and caught two more fish in the 2 pound range, one on a LFT worm and one on a spinnerbait.<br /> Unfortunately, the 3.5 did not make it. The bass put a a huge fight to get it in, and labored in the livewell. I culled out the others (thought she might make it to the weigh-in) so I ended up weighing in just the two fish. Thanks to Brian and Troy for the tournament. Always well run and a good time. All fish caught on a spinnerbait or large worm in 2-5 feet of water.
