<br /> I decided late in the day to fish the Saturday Night Dogfight out of HBSP. Showed up to worries of storms and hesitantly sped towards the same area I have fished hard over the past week. On the sixth cast, caught my first keeper, which measured exactly 15 inches, but also swallowed the hook. During that time, I could see and hear Jerry and John quickly garner a limit, which seemed to increase my urgency to quickly do the same. About an hour into fishing I caught my second keeper, a healthy 17 inch largemouth. Finally, about 10pm, I hooked into a large fish that I knew was big when she started running. Finally got her out from under the boat and netted her, realizing immediately I had boated a five pounder. Knowing what I had, and that Jerry probably had about 12 pounds, I figured I needed to upgraded the smallest fish by about 1 1/2 pounds to have a shot to win. I caught three more keeper fish, but could only upgrade the smallest one by about half a pound. The least two keepers I caught did not help me at all. Finally headed back towards HBSP and hit a few docks to no avail. Ended up the night with aroudn 10.2, but was lucky enough to win big fish with aa 5.70 largemouth. Caught all fish on big worms and senko (with rattle) in 5 to 8 feet of water. Thanks to Troy and Brian for putting on the Saturday night tournaments. They do a great job!<br />
