Does anyone know how much ice is still on Deer Creek? Hoping to launch our boat somewhere soon.
It might be a while. It is still completely capped except for about 4-6 feet of soft edges and shoreline open water as well as a small open area near the Charleston turn off. It was only in the 20’s when I drove past this evening.
Thanks for the update. I can’t catch a break. I figured deer creek in Feb last year. Man it has been cold!
If you have a tube or a toon the North end of Deer Creek is open from the Charleston ramp to the north.
