Anyone know if deer creek has ice on it? Hoping there is some open water to do some shoer fishing tomorrow any info is appreciated.
Drove by there on Tuesday… nearly the entire lake was open water.
A bit of skim ice near the Provo River inlet and some “bridge ice” between the big island and main land.
Other than that… ice free.
I was up there last saturday fishing from the shore by the dam. There was absolutely no ice where I was.
There were a lot of waves today with the wind. The little ice that was there on the edges by the Charleston turn off is now gone. Still going to be a long while..
Like Tubedude said, it may not cap this year. Maybe we’ll get lucky and all the lakes will thaw in February!
