If you would like to help out with a boat, or any other way please put your name down and size of boat or how you would like to help…

We had to move the date to August 8 2009 …

For those who wish to come to our meeting for setting up the days events it will be held on May 9th at 1:00 at building 47 at the VA hospital grounds I will post address and how to find it as soon as I can…

People and helpers we need…

  1. boats..

  2. cooks about 4…

  3. help with launching of boats…

  4. Some one to help with who goes in who’s boat Ect..

There may be something I have left out, if so let me know…

I would love to help but I have already committed to help CAST for Kids that day.

If it is going to be held at Strawberry I can bring my boat that will fish two comfortable with down riggers or three if we verticle jig. It will handle a couple wheel chairs if we need to go that route. I will furnish drinks and snacks for the people that go out with me that day. That’s the weekend prior to the archery hunt but I’m headed down Friday to set up camp and hang stands/and set up ground blinds so I will be fairly close to the lake. I don’t see any voulunteers for boats so maybe this won’t happen for the DAV’S. Seemed like there were alot of people offering boats awhile back I hope they are still available. [fishin]

Like i said before i have a 16 ft and i can take 1 or 2 depending on their physical limitations. I am sure other people will step up soon.

If thats your boat in the picture we could sure use it for the Vet’s in the wheel chairs…But I know the kids need help too..

Cliff,

I’m still in to take my boat. I’ll have to switch with someone at work to take the 8th off, but I’ll be there.

My boat is a center console and I can take two if trolling or four if vertical jigging, and maybe a helper. (picture attached) I can bring snacks and drinks for those on my boat ad I have all the gear.

I can’t make the meeting on May 9th as I will be out of town, but hopefully you can fill me in.

Yes tht is my boat and I wanted to help but I already committed.to CAST. This will be my 3rd year. ( they like the pontoon also). Maybe next year.
It’s tough when both worthy events are the same day.

I’m in to help with cooking or as a helper on a boat. I should be able to attend the meeting on the 9th.

I see you moved the date. I may be able to make that day? May 9th I can’t be at the meeting. Great cause and I hope I am in town to be able to offer what I can. I have a boat which I can fish one or two people in. I don’t know jack about trout fishing so will have to hit the berry a time or two before to make sure we catch some fish for these guys!

I will gladly be there with my boat to help. Attached is pic of truck and boat. I will be alone so lots of room in my truck to bring people as well. Boat is only 16ft long. I wont be able to make the meeting but count me in…

Count me in to help out. Wiperhunter2 said he would help out with deck hand. There should be plenty room for two. Wheel chair bound should not be a problem. My wife will most likely come too help out. We have a 21 foot Thunderjet. Should work nicely. Curt may have to attend the May 9 th meeting as I have work commitments but will get the August 8th off for this event.
