Caution Starvation

Just a caution for those going to Starvation. There are areas of new ice out past old ice and with the snow cover it is pretty hard to see where the change is. I was there yesterday at rabbit gulch and wandered into an area where it is was only 2"

The area just 50 yards to the west was 5". We caught a couple of those really nice Starvy Steelies. No perch to find.

Hopefully after a couple of very cold nights, it will all be safe. Be careful out there.

Only fished starvation a couple of times. Is that by the bridge? I’m going there Monday. Just curious on where I should go

this was at rabbit gulch straigt out from the pay area.

Want to take grandsons out tomorrow, and was hoping for Starvation perch? Think it will be safe ice? And any tips on where to find the perch?
