Falling through the ice is never good!!!
Tyler did everything that he should have done, if he would have struggled or anything, he would have probably died trying to get out. I was on my belly right next to him trying to help him get out, but he managed to climb out and roll to saftey on his belly.
Scary stuff!
I would not recommend the bay to anyone this week. Give it another week or so.
Good to hear you got out ok, falling through doesn’t sound very fun. Does anyone know if the right off the marina has very solid ice? Was thinking about going up on New Years Day but I may reconsider.

hey man you need to get a ice bar if your going to be playing on thin ice!! you would have known if the ice was soft with a bar where a auger you can’t tell near as well…
Not safe! That’s right where he went through. About 100 yards from the shore was thin ice or unsafe frozen slush.
