Fished the bear river with a friend on saturday afternoon and caught a couple of carp and a few catfish only fish for about an hour and had non stop action.

Maybe I’ll catch you out on Willard this spring. Your dad get his boat trailer fixed? Bummer deal but it could have been worse.
We will for sure see you on willard this spring i am gonna try and figure out some local waters instead of driving a million miles to catch the same old planter slimer everytime, i went out to willard the other day and got my skunk out of the way for the year on soft water . My dad is still hibernating so you may not see him for a while. He did get his trailer fixed but good old Petersens did a shitty job, filled the boat full of water and ice and tried charging us a bunch of extra $$$ on a half assed job. typical for our experiences with them. Get ahold of me if you need a fishin partner, i usually go out alone.
Looks like I’m going to have to head down there soon. Was that on the Cache or the Box Elder side of the mountain?
Nice looking fish, how big was that larger cat? Sounds like they are really biting. WH2
box elder side, the larger cat i would guess 3-4# all the cats we caught had fat bellies so they were definetly starting to eat, I went down to the refuge afterwards and talked to some guys and nobody had caught fish down where the river slowed down.
That is one big carp! I’d like to try for some of those local kitties this spring

Nice cats wheres a good place to go on the bear river?
i fish north of the corrine bridge, the spot i was at is about a 40 minute run in a boat at 20mph, there is not too much access by foot unless you know land owners. The river is running pretty good right now so i just found a eddy and put the bait in it.
