Looking for an Ice Condition update at E.C. cause im itching to get up there…anyone?

Have you heard of the ice being safe or are you just going up to check it out? Think I might head up that way tomorrow as well…that is if the wife will let me..[;)]
I am going to shoot ducks first thing in the morning. I’ll get there about 9:00 I have heard it is capped we’ll see. I am traveling light, no sled, no power auger, no tent and no heater. My buddy likes to go the old fashioned way, I prefer the ice condo myself. Look for us on the ice, south end.
There is a sticky post at the top, with the title, “Current Ice Conditions”, if you scroll down to Redbeards post, you will see a current ice fishing report on East Canyon.
Had a good friend go up to EC today, just called. 2-3 inches of ice at Taylor Hollow and people were on the hard deck fishing. Saw people at Dixie Hollow too.
Good fishing. 15-17 fish for the day. I’ll be headed up in the morning!
Somebody also fell in today up at EC. Still open water in the middle.
