The Price Perch Posse will be changing to the Basin Bluegill Brigade on Monday for a trip to Pelican Lake. Any of you been over there recently and can tell me about conditions of the ice/edges and anything we need to know? I’ve ice fished over there several times but not in the last three years. I plan on trying the east side by the road and then heading west toward deeper water. What do you Pelican Lake experts think? Thanks in advance for any and all recommendations.
Was there last sunday on the east side and the ice was good along with the edges we walked out just past the reeds in fifteen feet and we caught 50 by noon on orange ice flys tipped with waxies
I would appreciate hearing a report on the ice conditions there from any of yall that hit Pelican this week. I’m considering one more trip if I can convince my wife to let me go. I want to catch a few more bucketmouths through the ice. Thanks!
