Well, I guess my honesty paid off. The owner of the stolen boat came by this morning to get it. I’m glad that’s taken care of. Now I need to call the Sheriff’s office and have them close the case.
Anyway, a couple days ago I found a great 16.5’ Chrysler Courier with a Chrysler 105 hp motor on it. The guy also threw in a 60hp Johnson. Both motors run but the Chrysler has problems with its shift linkage. So, I got the whole package for $600. I tore down the gear case tonight and found that I only need to replace a couple seals and it will be in running condition.
This is my first boat(actually, the first in my whole family), so I am very excited to get it running.
